The Dashboard is your starting point for using OneConfig. It lists all your devices, including hostnames, descriptions, IP address of the network they are connect from, device model and status. Using the 'download' function (top right on screen) you can pull down a CSV file of all this information. Next to 'download' is the 'alarms' function that allows you to enable or disable license and/or system alarm icons on the dashboard view.
Next to each device is the 'Action' drop-down button. This is the primary method for viewing and configuring devices. The 'Action' menu gives you access to various menu functions.
Along the top of the screen is a series of tabs including: Devices (default view), Users, Configuration, Settings and Support. These tabs are described in more detail elsewhere in this Features Guide.
You can add a new Juniper device using the button in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Simply enter a name for the new device (or use the hostname) and specify whether it is a switch or a firewall. When you click 'Create Device' OneConfig adds a new device and generates a unique set of encrypted configuration lines. Login to your device, paste in the new configuration and commit. This will instruct your device to call home to OneConfig for authentication. (See our simple 'adding a device' video here.)
